Chapter 6: Tsunade’s Sickness

“Night, this is Lord Tsunade’s latest instruction.” A Root organization ninja handed Mūtsuki a scroll.

Mūtsuki nodded and took the scroll. Night was his codename within Root.

The two didn’t exchange much. The Root ninja quickly disappeared after handing the scroll to Mūtsuki. Mūtsuki was a hidden pawn of Root; too much contact and he’d be discovered by the Anbu. (Anbu is a special forces unit within Konoha)

Before the Root ninja left, Mūtsuki performed an appraisal.

Seeing the 7000 chakra, Mūtsuki couldn’t help but feel a little envious. He didn’t even have 5000, lagging behind by the equivalent of five or six six-year-old Shisuis.

After his sensory jutsu could no longer detect the Root ninja, Mūtsuki entered his room, opened the scroll, and checked Tsunade’s latest order.

Shisui was only six years old, just starting ninja school.

Therefore, a genius Uchiha either stayed quietly in the Uchiha clan or joined Anbu.

After reading, Mūtsuki used Fire Style to destroy the scroll.

This new instruction was within Mūtsuki’s acceptable range. Even if Tsunade hadn’t specifically sent someone, Mūtsuki would have reported Shisui’s genius status during his report.

Because Mūtsuki felt that given Tsunade’s attention to the Uchiha, concealing it was pointless; it would only attract unwanted attention to himself.

Mūtsuki created a shadow clone to practice ninja techniques, while his main body began to cultivate his chakra.

“Is it possible that she was afraid you’d use the ‘one person treats the other’ excuse to ask her out again?”

As soon as Mūtsuki entered the office, he saw Ueda Aya arguing with Iketani Yu.

She was a woman herself; didn’t she understand women? After hearing Iketani Yu’s words, she knew that this blind date was a waste, but Iketani Yu refused to believe it.

“加油 (jiāyóu – add oil, meaning “go for it!”)” Mūtsuki smiled encouragingly. What else could he say? Even Ueda Aya, as his friend, couldn’t persuade him.

Moreover, Mūtsuki really hoped Iketani Yu would be busy, so he could go and teach in class 4-2 again.

“Teacher Mūtsuki has good judgment; Ueda, just wait and see.” Encouraged by Mūtsuki, Iketani Yu became more confident.

In the afternoon class, Mūtsuki made a small attempt. He deliberately lowered the quality of his lecture.

He deduced from the previous system comments that the lecture score should be divided into two parts: the quality of the lecture content and student satisfaction.
