Chapter 102: Lady Ravenclaw’s Path to Magic

    Bro, let’s do this!

I, Andy Collins, love making friends with guys like you who are so straightforward.

As they spoke, the three of them reached the library doors.

    “Cedric, coming?” Andy asked.

    “Uh…”

Cedric hesitated for a moment, a little embarrassed. “We’re, uh, practicing Quidditch with the Hufflepuff team later.”

    Andy glared at Cedric.

We agreed to be bottom feeders together! But you Hufflepuffs are secretly training behind our backs.

    Are we even still brothers?

Besides, even if you practice really well, no one will care.

This year’s champion cup is destined to be won by either Gryffindor or Slytherin.

“Go for it!” Andy said unenthusiastically.

Cedric, however, looked serious. “We have a match against Slytherin next month. If we win by more than 120 points and catch the Golden Snitch, we can compete with Gryffindor for the championship.”

    Is that even a thing?

    Fine!

Regarding watching the match, unless Ravenclaw wins, the game will be meaningless.

Entering the library, Hermione excitedly found several books on humanities and geography, intending to make a thorough plan for her graduation trip!

Starting from Europe, passing through Asia, North America, and Africa, finally returning to Europe, completing a trip around the globe.

After making a general plan for the trip, the next step is to make a detailed plan—according to Hermione, the travel plan should be specific down to a particular country, city, attraction, and even a small shop with some history.

    “Speaking of travel…”

Andy suddenly remembered something. “Hermione, during Christmas, I told Isa that I would take her to a Muggle amusement park during the summer… I might need your help then.”

“Isa is my sister,” Andy added.

    “Going to an amusement park?”

Hermione looked surprised. “When you come, remember to write me a letter in advance. After setting the time, I’ll have my dad drive to pick you up.”

“Okay, it’s a deal,” Andy breathed a sigh of relief; he almost stood Isa up.

After making plans for their summer meeting, Andy and Hermione finally calmed down.

Hermione continued to plan her graduation trip, while Andy, as always, continued to read books on magical theory.

These past two days, Andy made significant progress.

Andy remembered from a movie in his past life, a magical theory:

Spells are the code that writes the reality of the world.

If this theory is applied to the world of Harry Potter, it makes sense.

Andy sometimes wonders, if the internet world is created by humans, could the real world also be created by higher-dimensional beings?

To those higher-dimensional beings, the real world where Andy lives is actually the internet world.

And wizards who master magic are actually viruses in the internet world.

When a wizard’s magical attainment reaches a certain level, he becomes an AI in the ‘internet world’.

In the real world—he is God!

The reason Andy’s thoughts went to this extreme was mainly because he read the poem written by Lady Ravenclaw.

From a magical perspective, Lady Ravenclaw was a versatile magic user.

Andy could find traces of hundreds of spells in that poem. Many magical effects are even beyond Andy’s current comprehension.

“Maybe Lady Ravenclaw, like me, wants to learn all the magic in the world,” Andy thought.

If those different magical effects are combined, almost anything in the world can be achieved.

Andy felt that he might have found Lady Ravenclaw’s path to magic.

    Knowledge and wisdom!

Knowledge is accumulation, mastering numerous spells.

Wisdom is application, reasonably utilizing all the magic you possess.

If everything depicted in that poem was accomplished through magic, then Lady Ravenclaw’s magical attainment must have reached an extremely high level.

She might not be able to achieve anything she desires, but she could use combination magic to achieve a similar effect.

She could use magic to do anything.

So, the reason for her untimely death…

Andy guessed that she might have been banned for cheating (開掛被封號 – literally “cheating and getting banned”).

These past two days, Andy has been reading theoretical books on combination magic—Lady Ravenclaw’s path to magic is indeed suitable for Andy, who possesses a system.

Andy sometimes thinks, if one day, he learns all the magic in the world and can combine them arbitrarily…

What level of magical attainment would he reach?

As those who’ve seen sci-fi movies know, if AI creates a body for itself, it can enter the real world from the internet world.

    —Like Ultron!

So, if a wizard’s magical attainment reaches the divine realm (AI), could he achieve transcendence by creating a body?

    Andy rubbed his face.

    Daydreaming ends here!

Magic needs to be learned practically, but occasionally daydreaming also helps inspire fighting spirit.

You need to have dreams, what if they come true?

At noon, Andy met Malfoy in the Great Hall.

His face was pale, and he didn’t look as arrogant as before. Though Goyle and Crabbe were still circling him, Malfoy remained silent, ignoring them.

Andy had previously guessed that Malfoy’s memory had been altered by Lord Voldemort.

If Dumbledore cured him, would Malfoy still remember what happened during this time?

Noticing Andy’s gaze, Malfoy’s face darkened.

He remembered what happened during this period, so he naturally understood that he had taken the fall for Andy.

If it weren’t for Andy, he wouldn’t have been attacked by Quirrell.

Initially, Quirrell simply wanted to get revenge on Malfoy. After all, it was Malfoy who forced him to leave Hogwarts, possibly facing Voldemort’s punishment.

But during the revenge, Voldemort regained consciousness.

After understanding the cause and effect, Voldemort, though angry at Quirrell’s incompetence, had already achieved his goal and had to prepare for his future plans.

Thus, Malfoy was exploited by Voldemort.

Seeing Malfoy notice him, Andy smiled and nodded.

    It seems this kid remembers.

    Andy felt relieved.

Although it was a rough ordeal, Malfoy was still alive.

Andy felt he still had a bottom line.

Although many Harry Potter fans in his past life said Malfoy was a villain, he was still just a child.

You can cause trouble, but you can’t implicate children.

Of course, if Malfoy really becomes a villain when he grows up, then when he becomes an adult, I’ll give him a Killing Curse!

    Andy thought.
