Chapter 65: Who Studies Before Exams, Seriously? (Seeking More Reads)
Monday. Since it was exam day, Gangzitie didn’t go to Ninja School too early.
He had already been studying for two weeks; he didn’t need to rush those extra ten or twenty minutes in the morning.
On the way, Gangzitie ran into Shinonome Izumo, also heading to school.
“Izumo, good morning,” Gangzitie greeted him with a bright smile.
“Good morning, Zitie.” Shinonome Izumo smiled back at his good friend.
“How was your weekend? Or did you spend both days studying?” Gangzitie asked warmly.
“Studying? Studying my ass!” Shinonome Izumo laughed heartily.
Shinonome Izumo asked, “Did you study?”
“I didn’t study,” Gangzitie shook his head. “Seriously, who studies before an exam?”
“Can grades crammed out at the last minute be considered real skill?” Shinonome Izumo nodded in agreement.
They exchanged a look, then both burst into laughter.
“Backgammon is so much fun! You absolutely have to try it after the exam, Zitie,” Shinonome Izumo said, like a serious gaming addict.
Secretly, he thought, *This is a sure thing. Gangzitie definitely didn’t study. My only rival is now Uchiha Shisui.*
“I’ll try it when I have time. I’ve been reading some really good novels lately. Izumo, you should check them out when you get a chance,” Gangzitie said, recommending novels to Shinonome Izumo as if he had actually read them.
*It’s settled. Izumo really didn’t study and was playing games the whole time. My only opponent in this exam is Shisui,* Gangzitie thought to himself.
“I definitely will when I have time,” Shinonome Izumo replied with a chuckle, in a very good mood.
“What are you two chatting about so happily?” Haruno Sakura appeared from behind, clapping both of them on the shoulders.
“Just talking about how we spent the weekend,” Gangzitie explained with a smile.
“Playing? Didn’t you study at all?” Haruno Sakura asked.
“Of course not. Did you spend these two days studying, Sakura?” Shinonome Izumo asked with surprise.
“No, I just studied for a whole day yesterday,” Haruno Sakura thought for a moment and replied.
Actually, she only studied for half an hour on Sunday night. But when Shinonome Izumo asked if she studied for two days, Haruno Sakura felt it was embarrassing to say half an hour, so she directly lied and said a whole day.
“Oh, you studied for a whole day. That’s great,” Gangzitie said with a smile.
Just one day! It posed absolutely no threat to him, who had been studying for half a month. Gangzitie even thought Sakura should have studied for the last two days.
“If you get rewarded by your family for doing well, don’t forget your brothers,” Shinonome Izumo joked.
“Heh, considering your games and novels, it’s not impossible,” Haruno Sakura said, in a good mood.
The three of them then walked and chatted to the ninja school, entering their classroom to wait for the exam to begin.
Soon, Mizuki and Ueda Aya entered Class 1-1. This time, Mizuki was assigned to proctor her own class.
“Teacher Mizuki!”
The students in the class greeted Mizuki one after another, and Mizuki responded with a smile.
“Teacher Mizuki, you’re proctoring this time?” Gangzitie asked.
Mizuki nodded in affirmation.
“Teacher Mizuki, can I ask you if I don’t know how to answer a question later?” Haruno Sakura asked knowingly.
Tap!
Mizuki tapped Haruno Sakura’s head lightly with her two fingers together, saying, “You can ask, but the answer is this.”
“It hurts!” Haruno Sakura covered the spot she was tapped, immediately becoming well-behaved.
“Everyone, check if you have all your exam materials. The exam will begin in ten minutes,” Mizuki reminded them.
Some cautious students began to check their materials after hearing Mizuki’s reminder.
“Teacher Mizuki, you’re very popular with the students,” Ueda Aya exclaimed.
She noticed that almost all the students greeted Mizuki.
This was rare. After all, in a class of forty, there were always some introverted or quiet students.
And some people might think that since so many people are greeting her, she won’t notice if I greet her, and I won’t speak up.
“After all, I am their homeroom teacher,” Mizuki replied.
Ten minutes later, Mizuki announced the start of the theory exam, then distributed the exam papers with Ueda Aya.
The students of Class 1-1 also gave Mizuki face, and no one spoke during the entire exam, everyone quietly answering the questions.
Mizuki and Ueda Aya took turns patrolling.
While patrolling, Ueda Aya curiously glanced at a few students who were answering questions. This quiet atmosphere was rare.
Perhaps because it was ninja school, the students were usually more lively.
After taking a look, Ueda Aya was immediately surprised. She casually looked at several people, and at first glance, the answers seemed to be all correct.
“Teacher Mizuki, the average score of your class is probably going to lead the grade again this time,” Ueda Aya softly told Mizuki what she had just seen.
“It’s hard to say before the exam results are out. Maybe other classes also did very well,” Mizuki softly replied.
Although good grades were a fact, Mizuki thought it was better to remain low-key.
When the exam ended and the exam papers were collected, the atmosphere in Class 1-1 changed.
“It’s finally over,” Gangzitie let out a smile of relief.
He had to study diligently every day and also find ways to prevent Shinonome Izumo from studying—it was exhausting.
“Yeah, after the practical exam, we have a long holiday,” Shinonome Izumo also smiled in relief.
After the theory exam, he finally didn’t have to act every day to prevent Gangzitie from studying.
“Zitie, Izumo, how did you feel about the exam?” Haruno Sakura came over and asked.
“So-so. This exam felt pretty difficult,” Gangzitie sighed.
“Yeah, there were many questions I didn’t know how to answer. I just wrote whatever came to mind. I don’t know what my score will be,” Shinonome Izumo looked worried.
“Ah? It was difficult? I thought it was pretty easy. Did yesterday’s studying work?” Haruno Sakura scratched her head, feeling like she had seen this scene somewhere before.
“Shisui, how did you feel about the exam?” Haruno Sakura asked Uchiha Shisui who was preparing to leave.
“So-so.” Shisui stopped and replied.
He felt it was about the same as the last exam; there was nothing to say.
“Why do I have such an easy feeling? Did I do really well?” Haruno Sakura felt the reward dumplings were getting closer.
“Tomorrow is the practical exam. Everyone must do their best and show our ninja technique skills to that female proctor,” Haruno Sakura remembered their long-standing plan to get rid of their previous taijutsu teacher.
“Definitely. This time, we absolutely have to get the school to bring in a more reliable taijutsu teacher,” Gangzitie nodded.
“Actually, I think it would be great to have Teacher Mizuki teach, but that would be too tiring for Teacher Mizuki; she has so many classes to teach,” Shinonome Izumo said regretfully.
Other students also responded, saying that they would definitely give 120% tomorrow and perform well.

“Child, do you know what this is?”
Thanos raised his golden gauntlet, six Infinity Stones sparkling with dazzling light. “With a snap of my fingers, you shall turn to dust.”
“Father doesn’t believe you.”
Fang Mo, wearing the End Set, slowly shook his head, his Universe Longsword pointed at Thanos’s shiny purple head. “Today, forget the Infinity Stones, even the Cosmic Heart won’t save your dog life!”
“Do you know what this is? This is the Rinnegan!”
Uchiha Madara stood in mid-air, laughing wildly. “It is the strongest spear and the strongest shield. Nothing can destroy it!”
“You’ve TM never seen anything really hard…” Fang Mo grinned and pulled out a block of bedrock. “Dare you compare it with this!?”
“This is…the Philosopher’s Stone?”
Edward stared blankly at the red crystal in front of him. “It can ignore the law of equivalent exchange?”
“Uh, in a certain sense, it can only be considered the basis of equivalent exchange.”
Fang Mo touched his portable transmutation table. “But if you want it, I can consider giving you a set.”
…
When the Fourth Heavenly Disaster meets the Mysterious Island module, this blockhead finally begins to wreak havoc on the myriad worlds.
