Performance Report, Update Status Explanation, and Next Month’s Extra Chapter Plan!

Thank you to all readers for your support. This book’s initial subscriptions exceeded 2400+, 400 more than my predicted 2000.

The subscription-to-completion ratio is ten to one, which is pretty good for a popular genre like Xuanhuan (Chinese fantasy).

I. According to the extra chapter rules, the extra chapter situation for next month is as follows:

1. Initial subscription extra chapters: 4 chapters.

2. Recommendation ticket extra chapters: Although we haven’t reached 10,000 votes yet, we’re close, so 1 extra chapter for recommendation tickets.

3. Average subscription extra chapters: The current average subscription is 2200+. At the end of this month, I will report the average subscription at the end of the month. For every 200 increase above 2200, an additional chapter will be added. For example, if there are 3000 average subscriptions at the end of the month, there will be 4 extra chapters. This depends on the growth of the average subscription.

4. Monthly ticket extra chapters: Currently, there are not yet 1000 monthly tickets, so temporarily 0 chapters. If there are any, I will add extra chapters next month.

In summary, a total of 5 extra chapters are tentatively planned for next month.

II. Let’s talk about future updates.

If it’s a daily update of two chapters, it will be updated at 12 noon and 8 PM.

If it’s a daily update of three chapters, it will be updated at 8 AM, 12 noon, and 8 PM.

If there are any extra chapters, they will be updated at 0:05 AM.

The author has a stock of written chapters, so the update time will be very fixed. Timed updates have already been set up for everyone’s convenience in following the updates.

There are 20 days left in December, and 11,000+ words will be updated daily until December 31st.

Starting on New Year’s Day, the original plan for the second month was a daily update of 8000+ words (at that time, the COVID-19 policies hadn’t been fully lifted, so I thought I couldn’t hold a wedding, and I had time to write, so I set a daily update of 8000 words).

However, now that restrictions have been lifted, the author needs to hold a wedding on January 8th next year. Before that, the author needs to spend a few days in the bride’s hometown (Henan) from Beijing, and then return to my hometown (Shanxi) to prepare for the wedding.

In addition, the author also has a full-time job, so the writing time is greatly compressed. To prevent the possibility of updating cessation next month due to being too busy, next month I can only tentatively set a daily update of 6000+ words, or even possibly 4000+ words (this situation shouldn’t happen; this book’s performance is quite good, and the author will not allow such lazy behavior of a daily update of 4000 words. It’s just in case, leaving myself a backup plan).

There will be fewer updates in January to accumulate some stock, but rest assured, for the sake of my 1500 yuan full attendance bonus, I will not stop updating. The author wants a daily update of 20,000 words, or even more, more than the readers do, but there are only 24 hours in a day, alas!

On the other hand, for a part-time author, quantity and quality are impossible to balance. Increasing quantity will inevitably lead to a decline in quality. Therefore, in the later stages, in order to maintain the rhythm and quality of this book, the update volume will definitely not be as large as this month. I hope you all understand.
