Chapter 147: The Four Little Ones Mega-Evolve! Six Little Ones!
In Liyue Harbor.
The four little ones were chasing and playing in the streets, having a great time.
Today was the day before the Lantern Rite Festival, and the festive atmosphere was very strong. Every household was brightly decorated, and everyone wore happy smiles.
This year, Ningguang invested heavily in decorating the streets with many Lantern Rite ornaments, making the whole street incredibly festive.
While running, the four little ones came to a bustling morning market, crowded with people enjoying breakfast.
Drawn by the aroma of delicious food filling the air, the four little ones dashed into the market to buy breakfast.
In the morning market.
The Young Master and the Signora were also having breakfast, having their subordinates buy a whole table of delicacies.
The Young Master took a bite of a meat bun.
“I have to say, these Liyue buns are really delicious, much better than the bread in Snezhnaya.” (Snezhnaya is a region from Genshin Impact)
The Signora rolled her eyes at the Young Master. “You’re from Snezhnaya! How can you diss your own country to praise another?”
“Liyue breakfast is just so-so,” she added.
The Young Master chuckled.
“Why don’t you check how much you’ve eaten before you speak?”
The Signora glanced at the pile of empty plates next to her and the untouched Snezhnayan bread beside them.
“Eating won’t shut you up? Hurry up and eat, we still have things to do after.”
The Young Master was a little puzzled.
“Things to do? What things?”
The Signora said,
“Her Majesty the Tsaritsa is coming to Liyue Harbor today, we’re going to greet her.”
The Young Master stared at the Signora in disbelief.
“Really? How come I didn’t know?”
The Signora said,
“Of course you wouldn’t know, the Tsaritsa contacted me. Hurry up and eat, then we’ll go to the port to wait.”
After hearing this, the Young Master stopped bickering and quickly finished his breakfast.
Each of the four little ones bought two large meat buns and a cup of soy milk and left the market.
The four little ones walked down the street, eating their buns.
As they walked, Klee suddenly saw Qiqi standing still in the distance.
Klee stared intently at Qiqi, feeling that her attire was strange.
Klee curiously approached her.
“Hello, my name is Klee, what’s your name?”
After a few seconds, Qiqi turned to Klee and said dully,
“Qiqi…Qiqi’s…name is…Qiqi.”
Klee nodded, looking understanding.
“Hello, Qiqi, what are you doing here?”
Qiqi looked up at the sky, pondered for a moment, and then said slowly,
“Qiqi…waiting…for…Yao…Yao…to…make…Lanterns.”
Klee became interested.
“Make lanterns? Is it fun?”
Qiqi stared blankly at Klee, thinking for a moment.
“Fun…right?”
Klee asked,
“Qiqi, can Klee go with you?”
Qiqi thought for a moment.
“Ask YaoYao.”
Klee’s little head was filled with curiosity.
“YaoYao? Who is YaoYao?”
As soon as Klee finished speaking, a YaoYao with a small bamboo basket on her back and a bun hairstyle walked by.
“Qiqi, I’m here~”
Qiqi pointed at YaoYao.
“She is YaoYao.”
YaoYao ran over to Klee.
“Hello, my name is YaoYao, YaoYao greets you~ What’s your name?”
Klee said cheerfully,
“I’m Klee, so you’re YaoYao? Can Klee go with you to make lanterns?”
YaoYao immediately agreed.
“Yes! Let’s go, I’ll take you to find the materials for making lanterns.”
Klee asked YaoYao to wait.
“YaoYao, wait a second, Klee has a few more friends~”
Then, Klee called out to Razor, Sucrose, and Diona, who were watching a ring-toss game at a nearby stall.
“Sucrose~ Razor~ Diona! Come over here, let’s go make lanterns!”
Sucrose, Razor, and Diona came to Klee.
The six little ones introduced themselves again. Razor curiously asked,
“YaoYao, what are sky lanterns?”
YaoYao explained,
“Sky lanterns are lanterns that can fly. We release them every Lantern Rite Festival to pray for peace and safety.”
Razor suddenly understood.
“Like that~ Razor wants to release a sky lantern!”
YaoYao nodded with a smile.
“Okay, let’s go. I’ll take you to find the materials for making sky lanterns. To make the lanterns fly high, we need good bamboo. Let’s go look for some bamboo in the wild.”
Klee took Qiqi’s hand and happily shouted,
“Yay! Klee’s going to make sky lanterns with new friends~”
Then, Klee pulled Qiqi and ran forward quickly.
Sucrose waved her hand.
“Quick! Let’s catch up, charge!”
Sucrose and Razor also rushed out.
Seeing this, Diona and YaoYao quickly followed, YaoYao shouting as she ran.
“Slow down, be careful not to fall!”
The six little ones rushed towards the wilderness, while Rios followed slowly behind them, protecting their safety.
Meanwhile, Xingqiu, Hutao, March 7th, Lumine, Amber, and Seele.
Hutao was having breakfast with everyone in a teahouse near the Wangsheng Funeral Parlor.
Xingqiu took a spoonful of egg custard and asked,
“Hutao, where are we going to play later?”
Hutao said,
“I’ll take you to the Wangshu Inn later.”
Lumine said,
“Wangshu Inn? What’s fun there? The last time I came from Mondstadt, you were waiting for me there, and there wasn’t anything fun.”
Hutao smiled mysteriously.
“You wouldn’t know this, but I recently discovered a ruin nearby. Let’s go check it out. These ruins usually have a lot of treasure chests!”
Upon hearing “treasure chests,” everyone’s eyes lit up.
March 7th exclaimed joyfully,
“If you put it that way, I’m not sleepy anymore! Let’s eat quickly, then let’s go exploring!”
Hutao nodded and continued,
“After we explore the ruin, it’ll probably be evening. Ningguang prepared a treasure ship, saying she wants to invite us to play on it. I’ll take you there in the evening.”
Amber was curious.
“What kind of treasure ship is it?”
Hutao thought for a moment.
“It’s a very, very large ship specifically for recreation. I heard from the Traveler that it’s quite fun. We’ll see when we go there in the evening.”
Eula said,
“Then let’s eat quickly and go play!”
Everyone sped up their eating, and after finishing their meal, they headed straight for the Wangshu Inn.
Jing Yuan, Welt, Ye Yun, Zhongli, and Huaiyan were already on a pleasure boat, drinking tea, playing chess, and chatting.
Jing Yuan lay on his side by the railing, admiring the beautiful seascape.
“The last time I came here, the weather wasn’t this good.”
Zhongli, remembering Osial, replied,
“The last time, there was a Demon God wreaking havoc; naturally, there wouldn’t be such a beautiful scene.”
To be honest, Zhongli suddenly felt curious about how Osial was doing in his prison in Lopang.
Meanwhile, in the Lopang prison.
Osial lay like a salted fish in his cell. It was much more comfortable here than being sealed by Zhongli. Here, he had enough food and drink, and an hour of outdoor time every day.
