    Chapter 19: Trading Goods

Xier tossed a small bag of Star Crystals onto the table, then plopped down onto the nearby sofa.

“Natasha, what are you collecting all these Star Crystals for?”

Natasha counted the Star Crystals Xier had brought back—160 in total. Adding them to those in the burlap sack, she had 1525.

“You’ll find out tomorrow. Come here first thing in the morning.”

    Xier was even more puzzled.

    “What are you doing tomorrow?”

Instead of answering, Natasha asked a question.

    “How was dinner tonight?”

Hearing Natasha ask about dinner, Xier instinctively licked her lips.

The white rice was incredibly fragrant! Even without side dishes, it was delicious. Xier had eaten a full three bowls tonight, completely stuffed.

“It was delicious! Where did all that white rice come from? And it was unlimited! Natasha, did our Earth Fire group suddenly strike it rich?”

Natasha picked up a Star Crystal and shook it at Xier.

“If you consider this striking it rich, then yes.”

“That bowl of rice you ate tonight was exchanged for just this one Star Crystal, enough to feed you for a month.”

    Xier froze.

What?! This stone called a Star Crystal was so valuable?!

Xier couldn’t help but think of the Star Crystals she had casually discarded after defeating monsters guarding treasure chests and opening them. She instantly regretted it.

Oh my god! How much food did I throw away!

Xier almost wanted to give her past self a scythe, wishing she could change her bad habit of throwing things everywhere!

Natasha found Xier’s pained and regretful expression, clutching her chest, very funny.

This Xier, besides fighting, loved to eat the most.

To be precise, every child who grew up in the Lower City loved delicious food.

“Tomorrow, we’ll use these Star Crystals to trade for rice. So, come early tomorrow, and get some rest tonight.”

Upon hearing this, Xier jumped up from the floor, opened the door, and rushed home to sleep.

    “See you tomorrow, Natasha.”

Natasha watched the door swaying back and forth from the force with which Xier had closed it, sighing helplessly.

“That Xier is always so impulsive.”

    Please collect, please recommend.

    The next day.

Ye Yun, Hu Ke, and Clara finished breakfast and headed towards Pan Rock Town.

Before leaving, Ye Yun left Swaro a mobile phone with his contact information.

Swaro could contact Ye Yun when he needed to purchase supplies.

Near the gate of Pan Rock Town, similar to the gate in Mo Ding Town.

Natasha, Oleg, Xier, and a large group of Earth Fire members waited there.

Xier was getting impatient. She had been standing there for over two hours.

“Natasha, who is it? Are they going to stand us up?”

    Natasha shook her head.

“No, the mech from yesterday came from Swaro. Ye Yun probably spent the night at Swaro’s place; it takes time to get here.”

    Xier pouted.

If it weren’t for the fact that the other party would be trading a large amount of supplies with them soon, Xier would have turned around and left immediately.

    Half an hour later.

Three figures and a deer appeared in everyone’s sight.

“Sorry everyone, I’m a little late,” Ye Yun apologized, bowing slightly.

Natasha smiled and shook her head.

“No, we just arrived a short while ago.”

Hearing this, Xier muttered dissatisfiedly under her breath.

“What do you mean just arrived? We’ve been here all morning!”

Unknown to Xier, her voice, although soft, wasn’t that far from Ye Yun. Natasha heard her as well.

“Sorry, Ye Yun, that’s just her personality.”

    Ye Yun smiled.

“It’s alright, let’s go, let’s start the trade.”

    Natasha immediately led the way.

The group walked through the streets and alleys to a warehouse.

Natasha took out the 1525 Star Crystals she had collected yesterday.

“Ye Yun, how many supplies can these be exchanged for?”

Ye Yun glanced at the burlap sack of Star Crystals, directly took out an exchange scale, taught Natasha how to use it, and then let her choose what she wanted to exchange for.

Xier found the exchange scale very interesting. This little thing could actually “spit out money”.

“Hey, uhm… Ye… what was it again? Oh right, Ye Yun, do you have any more of these scales? Sell me one to play with.”

    Ye Yun smiled.

    “This is not for sale.”

    Xier said,

“Oh, come on, I know you guys! Merchants are profit-driven. I’ll pay extra, okay?”

Ye Yun still shook his head.

Seeing this, Xier lost interest and went to watch Natasha.

    More than ten minutes later.

Natasha had chosen the supplies she wanted to buy.

She handed Ye Yun the purchase list and 152,500 Star Coins.

Ye Yun reached out and produced all the supplies Natasha had purchased.

In less than a minute, the entire warehouse was crammed full.

Natasha temporarily requisitioned several nearby houses to store all the supplies.

Natasha looked at Ye Yun gratefully.

    “Thank you, Ye Yun.”

    Ye Yun said.

    “You’re welcome, it’s a simple transaction.”

Natasha then remembered Star, March 7th, and Dan Heng.

“By the way, Ye Yun, four people came to my clinic yesterday, three women and one man, also from another world. Do you want to go take a look?”

Ye Yun thought, that must be Star and the others.

Calculating the time, they should be here about now.

“Oh? Then I’ll go take a look. You keep busy here.”

    Natasha called to Xier.

“Xier, take Ye Yun to the clinic.”

    Xier readily agreed.

After seeing the massive amount of supplies, Xier had completely changed her opinion of Ye Yun.

Waiting too long? That’s only natural! This is a respected, wealthy benefactor! You have to serve them well!

    “Alright! Leave it to me!”

Hu Ke, seeing the change in Xier, whispered to Clara.

“Clara, do you feel that Xier is very pragmatic?”

    Clara nodded.

    “Mm-hm.”

Xier walked to Ye Yun, gesturing him to go first.

    “This way, esteemed guest~”

    Ye Yun smiled.

“No need to do that, Xier, just be normal.”

    Xier stood up straight.

“Okay, let’s go, let’s go, the clinic is this way.”

    Inside the clinic.

March 7th and Dan Heng were already awake.

The two stood in the room discussing what to do next.

“I want to go outside and see if I can find some clues about the Star Core.”

March 7th thought for a moment.

“Go ahead, I’ll watch over Star here. She hasn’t woken up yet.”

Dan Heng looked at Star on the bed.

“Okay, I’ll go look for clues. Let’s keep in touch.”

Having said that, Dan Heng was about to go out.

At this moment, a sound came from outside the door.

Dan Heng stopped, looking vigilantly at the door.

The doorknob turned, and the door was pushed open from the outside.

A familiar figure came into view.

    March 7th exclaimed in surprise.

“Ye Yun! What are you doing here?”
