Star Rail, My Little Shop on the Train 2
Chapter 2, Star: I’m Such a Genius
Star looked at the Black Tower, and suddenly a flash of inspiration struck her. She seemed to have a way to get Star Crystals!
Star chuckled, taking out the Coin of Destiny.
“Black Tower, can you take a look at this?”
The Black Tower looked at the Coin of Destiny with disdain.
“Isn’t this just a coin? What’s so special about it?”
Star’s lips curled into a smirk, hands on her hips.
“Oh, it’s much more than that! This is the Coin of Destiny. You toss it in the air. If it lands heads, you regain health; if it lands tails, you get struck by lightning. How’s that? Pretty powerful, right?”
The Black Tower became slightly interested.
The Black Tower picked up the Coin of Destiny and tossed it into the air.
Star watched the coin being tossed, her heart filled with glee. Her plan was working! Regardless of the outcome, as long as this Coin of Destiny was real, she could extort the Black Tower and get her to subsidize her with Star Crystals.
The Coin of Destiny danced and spun in the air before finally falling to the ground.
Star craned her neck to see the result.
[Tails]!
The next second, the Black Tower’s doll suddenly cried out, as if it had been heavily struck.
Star scratched her head in confusion, looking at the Black Tower doll.
Except for the sound, the Black Tower doll didn’t move.
“What’s wrong with you, Black Tower?”
Unknown to Star, the Black Tower’s real body had just been struck by lightning when the Coin of Destiny landed.
Fortunately, she had the blessing of wisdom, and she wasn’t severely injured.
The Black Tower was successfully intrigued by the Coin of Destiny. This thing could actually directly target and attack her real body.
The Black Tower quickly controlled her doll to pick up the Coin of Destiny from the ground.
The moment the Black Tower doll touched the Coin of Destiny, it turned to dust and dissipated.
“Interesting, this is too interesting! Star, where did you get this thing? Do you have more?”
Star shook her head.
“No. And this is my only one. Pay up!”
Star confidently extended her right hand, demanding compensation.
The Black Tower didn’t speak. A few seconds later, Star’s phone chimed.
[Company treasure received, 100,000 credit points!]
Star looked at the 100,000 credit points in her account, completely satisfied.
She would use some to buy Star Crystals, then buy the other two items from Ye Yun. Hee hee.
After buying everything, she would still have a lot of credit points left. Hee hee, I’m such a genius.
After receiving the money, Star didn’t waste any more time with the Black Tower.
“Uh, Black Tower, I have something to do today, so I won’t be testing the simulated universe today.”
Unexpectedly, the Black Tower readily agreed.
The Black Tower had given up on having Star test the simulated universe the moment she offered compensation.
By offering compensation so readily, she aimed to expose the person who sold Star the Coin of Destiny.
Undoubtedly, anyone who could sell something like the Coin of Destiny would certainly have more than just one item.
Star would definitely go back to that merchant after getting this money, and she would simply monitor Star.
“Go ahead, I’m not in the mood to test today either. We’ll talk tomorrow.”
With that, the Black Tower doll went offline, standing motionless on the spot.
Seeing this, Star raised an eyebrow and left the Black Tower’s office.
Along the way, Star asked everyone she met if they had Star Crystals.
And you wouldn’t believe it, but she really did manage to exchange for quite a few Star Crystals this way.
People were willing to give 500 credit points for one Star Crystal. For many people, a Star Crystal was just a pretty stone, so why not exchange it for 500 credit points?
After asking around the main control cabin section, Star had 20 Star Crystals in her bag.
Just as Star was about to go find Ye Yun, a voice called out from behind her.
“Star, what are you doing here?”
Star turned around and saw March 7th.
“March 7th, I’m exchanging for Star Crystals. By the way, do you have any Star Crystals? I’m willing to pay 500 credit points for each.”
March 7th looked at Star suspiciously. What was Star up to this time?
“Yes, what’s up? Why do you need them? You’re even paying for them.”
Star looked around, and after noticing only herself and March 7th were present, she revealed a mysterious smile and leaned closer to March 7th.
“Of course, it’s for a great… purpose.”
March 7th looked at Star who was so close.
“What great purpose? Is it something fun? Tell me!”
Star chuckled, whispering in March 7th’s ear.
“Let me tell you…”
March 7th listened, occasionally exclaiming in surprise.
“This is fun! Star, I want to go buy things too, take me with you!”
Star nodded.
“Let’s go, let’s go, keep up.”
Star took March 7th to the location Ye Yun had sent her.
Ye Yun was currently strolling in a small garden next to the main control cabin section.
It has to be said that Astalda truly was the daughter of the Star Level Peace Company. Just this small garden alone must have cost a fortune to build.
The garden was filled with countless flowers in vibrant colors and various shapes.
Soon, Star and March 7th arrived.
Star saw Ye Yun and pulled March 7th, quickening their pace into a trot.
Ye Yun saw them and smiled, greeting them.
“Star! Over here.”
Star and March 7th approached.
Star looked around Ye Yun, and March 7th curiously asked.
“Star, what are you looking at?”
Star replied,
“I’m looking for the balance scale. Quick, Ye Yun, take out your balance scale, I need to exchange some Star Coins.”
Ye Yun smiled and took out the balance scale.
“Star, you brought a friend? Introduce us.”
Upon hearing Ye Yun’s prompt, Star realized she hadn’t introduced March 7th and Ye Yun to each other yet.
“Ye Yun, this is my best friend, March 7th, an unnamed passenger on the train.”
“March 7th, this is Ye Yun, the merchant I told you about.”
Having said that, Star eagerly placed all 20 of her Star Crystals on one side of the balance scale.
Soon, the Star Crystals disappeared without a trace, and 20 Star Coins with a denomination of 100 appeared on the other side.
Star happily picked up the 2000 Star Coins, splashed some water from a nearby automatic sprinkler onto her hand and started counting them. This feeling of counting money was simply amazing!
March 7th looked curiously at the Star Coins in Star’s hand.
“Star, are these the Star Coins you mentioned?”
Star nodded.
“That’s right, March 7th, you should exchange yours too. Once you’ve exchanged them, you can buy things from Ye Yun.”
Hearing this, March 7th imitated Star, placing her 10 Star Crystals on one side of the balance scale.
Soon, 10 Star Coins with a denomination of 100 appeared on the other side.
After taking them, March 7th examined each one carefully.
Seeing this, Ye Yun smiled and handed his phone to the two girls.
“My shop isn’t open yet, so conditions are a bit simple. Just use my phone to look. The items listed are what I have for sale.”
Ye Yun had been racking his brains for a good way to rent a train car.
So, he spent some time recording the items in his shop inventory onto his phone.
The name, price, and function of each item were clearly recorded, allowing buyers to understand the characteristics of the goods intuitively.
In just a short while, Ye Yun had recorded over 500 items.
