Chapter 25: Venti: My HUGE Traveler?

Amber got off the car and asked everyone to wait a moment while she went to inform the Knights of Favonius at the city gate.

Kiana checked the time and said, “Lumine, you guys go ahead. We have to go back. We’ve been out playing long enough.”

Walther nodded in agreement. “That’s right, we’ll head back first. We can come over again later if we have time.”

Ye Yun looked at the sky. It was almost dark in Tivat; when they arrived, it was still midday.

Ye Yun looked at the two little ones, Hook and Clara.

The two little ones looked tired, occasionally yawning. It was understandable; they had played all day, even running around in the RV. Feeling tired and sleepy at this time was normal.

Ye Yun patted the two little ones’ heads. “Lumine, we won’t go in. We’ll go back and rest. We’ll come again when we’re free.”

Paimon was a little disappointed. “Ah? Why? We’re already at the city gate.”

Ye Yun said, “It’s okay. As long as you’re in Tivat, we can come over anytime. It’s just a teleportation gate away.”

Paimon wanted to persuade Ye Yun to stay and see the city together.

Lumine quickly said, “No problem! Once I’ve settled down here, I’ll invite you all for dinner!”

Kiana smiled slightly. “Okay, then I’ll be waiting for Lumine’s big feast!”

Lumine patted her chest. “No problem!”

Then, Ye Yun, Kiana, Walther, Hook, and Clara entered the teleportation gate and returned to the train.

Paimon was a little puzzled. “Lumine, why didn’t you let everyone stay? I was thinking of having dinner with everyone tonight!”

Lumine said, “They’re tired from playing today and want to go back to rest. Didn’t you see Hook and Clara were almost asleep?”

    Paimon realized this. “Oh…”

At this time, Amber suddenly asked, “Lumine, Paimon, I’ve helped you settle your ‘RV’. Hey, where’s Ye Yun and the others?”

Paimon said, “They went back to rest!”

Amber was very confused. Go back? Where did they go back to? Weren’t they travelers like Lumine? “Aren’t they with you?”

Lumine shook her head and then nodded. “They’re kind of with us, but they’re not from our world. They’re from another world, and they just went back to their world to rest.”

Amber was shocked and stared at Lumine. “What! They’re from another world?”

Lumine nodded. “That’s right. It’s a long story. I’ll tell you as we walk. It’s getting late, let’s go into the city.”

Amber thought Lumine’s suggestion made sense, and then took Lumine and Paimon into Mondstadt.

Along the way, Lumine explained Ye Yun and the others to Amber, who listened very carefully, her ears perked up, afraid of missing a single word.

As they walked, they soon came to a square. There, Amber gave Lumine the promised gift, the “Wings of the Wind.”

Just as Lumine was about to practice using the Wings of the Wind, the weather suddenly changed drastically. Gale-force winds howled, and thunder and lightning struck.

“Run! It’s the Stormterror!” Someone shouted, and the people present scattered in panic.

A dragon’s roar echoed through the sky. Lumine’s eyes widened as she watched Dvalin gliding across the sky.

“Lumine! This way!” Amber called out, pulling Lumine towards a nearby building.

A whirlwind suddenly formed behind Lumine, sweeping her into the air.

Just as Venti was about to go out and help Lumine, Lumine, in mid-air, quickly opened a teleportation gate and jumped inside.

Venti was dumbfounded. What?! My HUGE Traveler?!

Paimon breathed a sigh of relief when Lumine jumped into the teleportation gate. “Amber, let’s run, Lumine’s fine.”

Amber didn’t quite understand what Paimon meant. Wasn’t Lumine swept away by the whirlwind?

Paimon explained to Amber, “Lumine just opened a teleportation gate and went to Ye Yun’s place.”

Amber then realized that she had indeed heard Lumine say that she could open a teleportation gate to Ye Yun’s world. However, the gate she opened could only be used by herself and Paimon; it wouldn’t work for others.

    Inside Ye Yun’s shop:

Ye Yun, Kiana, Walther, Hook, Clara, and Pam were sitting around a long table in the center, eating dinner prepared by Pam. Each had a steak, and several dishes of vegetables were in the center of the table.

A teleportation gate opened in front of everyone. The next second, Lumine flew out of it.

    “Ouch!”

Ye Yun looked at Lumine, face-planted on the ground, and teased her, “Lumine, why is this your usual entrance? Does your face hurt?”

Lumine got up and touched her cheek. “You tell me!”

Kiana noticed that Lumine was disheveled, as if she had experienced some kind of disaster. “Lumine, what happened? Did you encounter any difficulties?”

Lumine told Ye Yun and the others what had happened.

    Walther became interested. “A dragon?”

Lumine took the towel Pam handed her and wiped her face. “Yeah, such a huge dragon. It was so scary!”

Walther suddenly wanted to see the Wind Crystal Butterfly he had brought back, which was currently in his room.

Ye Yun quickly said, “Sigh… Let’s go, I’ll go with you and help you solve it, otherwise, you might not be able to go back for a while.”

Having said that, Ye Yun opened the teleportation gate, located Lumine’s previous position, and pulled her inside.

Seeing the teleportation gate close, Walther felt a little distressed. “I wanted to go too.”

Kiana covered her mouth and chuckled. “Next time, remember to speak up faster.”

    Walther sighed and continued eating.

In the Mondstadt sky, Venti was about to guide Dvalin away from Mondstadt City. The main character was gone, so there was no need to continue this act.

At this time, a teleportation gate suddenly opened, and Ye Yun and Lumine emerged from it.

Venti was quick-witted and quickly landed on the ground and hid.

Paimon and Amber, who had reached a safe area, saw Lumine and Ye Yun in the sky. “Amber, look! Lumine’s back, and so is Ye Yun!”

    In the sky:

Ye Yun looked at Dvalin flying in the distance. “It’s really huge.”

Lumine beside him was speechless. “It’s a dragon, okay? Dragons are large creatures in any world.”

Ye Yun smiled. “It doesn’t matter how big it is.”

Then, he reached out towards Dvalin’s direction.

In an instant, a terrifying power erupted from Ye Yun. This power transformed into several dark gold chains that flew towards Dvalin.

The speed of the chains was incredibly fast. Before Dvalin could react, it was bound by the chains.

Dvalin let out a dragon’s roar, struggling frantically to break free from the chains.

Ye Yun smirked, a hint of disdain in his eyes. “Resistance is futile! Bind!”

Ye Yun increased the force slightly, and Dvalin was completely bound like a dumpling and flew towards Ye Yun.
