Chapter 3: Sales, Black Tower Arrives

Two girls huddled together, excitedly browsing the merchandise.

“This bamboo dragonfly looks pretty interesting! You can fly with it on your head!”

“This teleportation gate is pretty good; it can teleport within 10,000 kilometers, but it’s a bit expensive, costing 100,000 Star Coins.”

“This Starry Sky Camera looks good, and there’s a pink version! Let me see… built-in magic, unlimited film, and instant development! This is literally my dream machine!”

“This trash can scratch-off lottery is kind of interesting; you can win up to 500,000 Star Coins!”

The two girls chattered away, discussing the items.

Ye Yun sat to the side, sipping a soda and quietly watching them choose their goods.

After more than ten minutes, the two girls closed their phones, having selected their desired items.

March 7th took out her 1000 Star Coins and handed them to Ye Yun.

“Here, Ye Yun, I want to buy that Starry Sky Camera!”

Ye Yun looked at the price of the Starry Sky Camera; it was exactly 1000 Star Coins.

Ye Yun snapped his fingers, and a camera encased in bubbles appeared among the three of them.

    March 7th stared intently.

“That’s it! That’s it! Ye Yun, here’s the money!”

Ye Yun pointed to the bubble.

“Tap the Star Coins on it; once the amount is sufficient, you’ll receive it.”

March 7th, on hearing this, grabbed the Star Coins and slammed them onto the bubble.

The Star Coins and the bubble disappeared simultaneously, and the Starry Sky Camera materialized in March 7th’s hands.

March 7th, upon receiving the camera, eagerly began taking pictures.

“Wow~ The pixels are so clear! It feels better than my own eyes!”

    Ye Yun smiled.

    “I’m glad you like it.”

Then, Ye Yun looked at Star.

“What about you? What do you want to buy?”

    Star held 2000 Star Coins.

“I want the Trash Can scratch-off lottery! Give me two buckets!”

    Ye Yun inwardly sighed.

Sure enough, when I first listed this item, I thought Star would buy it.

This thing is a perfect match for Star; she has absolutely no resistance to it.

Ye Yun checked the price and summoned two bubbles.

Each Trash Can scratch-off lottery cost 1000 Star Coins.

Star, without a word, grabbed 1000 Star Coins and slapped them onto each bubble.

    “Clang!”

    “Clang!”

Two heavy thuds echoed as Star rushed to the two glittering trash cans.

Star first knocked on the two trash cans, listening to the sounds coming from inside.

March 7th noticed this and walked over.

“Star, why did you buy this? Scratch-off lotteries usually don’t give you good things.”

    Star patted her chest.

“Normal people definitely won’t get good things, but I’m different! Am I a normal person? Of course not! I’m the future Galactic Baseball Hero!”

March 7th was speechless. What kind of titles does Star give herself?

    Galactic Baseball Hero? So edgy.

At that moment, a voice rang out from the side.

“Found you. Did you sell that coin to Star?”

The three looked towards the newcomer. Star was slightly surprised.

“Black Tower? What are you doing here?”

Black Tower glanced calmly at Star.

    “Naturally, I followed you.”

After saying this, Black Tower ignored Star and turned to Ye Yun.

    “Did you sell that coin?”

Ye Yun nodded, handing his phone to Black Tower.

“That’s right. Take a look yourself; it lists everything I sell. If it’s not on here, you can tell me the characteristics of what you want to buy. Here, as long as you have enough Star Coins, you can buy anything you want!”

    Black Tower became interested.

“Star Coins? What are those? How do you get them?”

    Ye Yun said,

“Star Crystals. Currently, only Star Crystals can be exchanged in this world; one Star Crystal can be exchanged for 100 Star Coins.”

Black Tower understood and sent a message to Aosta, asking her to send some Star Crystals over.

Then, Black Tower took Ye Yun’s phone and began browsing.

Star looked at Black Tower, ignored her, and continued opening the buckets!

Star rubbed her hands together, performing a prayer-like ritual.

    Black Tower sighed.

“Star, studies show that people’s luck has no connection with these frivolous things.”

    Star turned her head.

“You don’t understand; these things work if you believe, and don’t if you don’t.”

Star then flung open one of the trash cans.

The next second, a blinding light erupted from the trash can, temporarily blinding everyone present.

Even the Black Tower puppet was affected, as it was a lifelike android created by Black Tower.

Star struggled to open her eyes and look into the trash can, her face filled with excitement.

    Legendary Gold!!!

Once the light subsided, the trash can disappeared, and a can of sardines appeared in its place.

Star curiously picked up the sardine can and shook it.

    “What is this?”

    March 7th was also curious.

“Is it fish food? I see a picture of a fish on it.”

Black Tower rolled her eyes at the two girls.

“Duh, it’s a can of sardines, an old thing from many years ago. It’s food.”

March 7th and Star had never eaten canned food before, so they didn’t recognize it.

Star, an amnesiac Star Core spirit, and March 7th, a member of the train crew (which had Pam, a great chef, onboard), had never encountered canned sardines.

Star was about to open the can to taste it.

    Ye Yun quickly stopped her.

    “Stop!”

    Star looked puzzled.

“Why? Isn’t this food? I’m a little hungry; I’ll try the taste.”

Ye Yun thought for a moment and decided to tell the truth, making Star understand the seriousness of the situation.

“It is food, but… well, it’s best not to open it where other people are around.”

    Star immediately understood.

    Oh, this… this thing can’t be eaten…

Suddenly, Star’s eyes lit up, and an idea flashed through her mind.

Star put it away and turned to the other trash can.

March 7th put her hands on her hips.

“Star, should we return this trash can? It doesn’t give you good things, and it’s so expensive, 1000 Star Coins each.”

Star shook her head and opened the can without a word!

After the same dazzling golden light, the trash can disappeared, and a pair of pistols appeared in its place.

Star looked disappointed. She spent 2000 Star Coins and only got these two things? The sardines might have some use somewhere.

But these two pistols… not very useful.

At this moment, Ye Yun looked at Star with a horrified expression.

“What kind of luck do you have?!”

    Star helplessly shrugged.

    “Yeah, I’m really unlucky.”

    Ye Yun said,

“No! Do you know what you got?”

Star shook her head. From Ye Yun’s expression, perhaps these pistols had some significance?

“Ye Yun, did I really get something good?”

Ye Yun didn’t beat around the bush.

“Let’s just say this would cost 200,000 Star Coins here. This pair of pistols has a very imposing name:

Key of Divinity! Heavenly Fire Judgment!”
