Chapter 75: Wang Sheng Tang Internet Cafe Opens!
The next day arrived.
At the entrance of Wang Sheng Tang (Wang Sheng Tang), Hutao was shouting on the street with her employees.
“Everyone come take a look! Wang Sheng Tang Internet Cafe is officially open! Here, you will experience a novel experience you’ve never had before!”
Hutao shouted with all her might on the street. Even Zhong Li was there, shaking a clapper (a traditional Chinese toy) in his hand.
Zhong Li had been dragged over by Hutao early in the morning. He had originally planned to go to Ye Yun’s place.
Hutao created quite a stir, attracting the attention of people passing by.
“Internet cafe? What’s an internet cafe?”
“I think it must be a new Wang Sheng Tang package that Tangzhu (Hall Master, referring to Hutao) has come up with. What do you think?”
“I don’t think so. It must be some kind of shop; otherwise, Tangzhu wouldn’t say it’s opening.”
“What’s the use of discussing this? Why not go and see for ourselves?”
Soon, driven by curiosity, some people walked into the Wang Sheng Tang Internet Cafe.
Seeing customers entering, Hutao quickly went to greet them.
“Welcome, honored guest! We charge by the hour, 998 Mora per hour! How about that?”
After the customer paid at the front desk, Hutao took him to a computer.
The people of Liyue Harbor had never encountered such a thing before, so Hutao had to spend some time guiding them initially.
Wang Sheng Tang was located in Yujing Terrace, a prime location with high traffic.
Soon, the internet cafe was filled with people.
Some customers had already started playing games.
Simple games like Romance of the Three Kingdoms, Mario, and Angry Birds.
Basically, every computer was surrounded by people; those using the computers were playing, while those nearby were watching and discussing.
“Wow! This general is powerful! One skill can kill a whole bunch of soldiers!”
“Try launching the bird here, like this, and then like this, it should work.”
“Jump faster! You got hit by a turtle again?”
“Your reflexes are terrible! You can’t even get that one next to you. Look, you have to start playing Snake all over again.”
The internet cafe was booming, and Hutao sat at the front desk happily counting money.
10 computers, one hour could bring her 9980 Mora in revenue.
These computers didn’t need any supervision and could run 24/7. She had struck gold!
Soon, Xiangling, Xingqiu, and Chongyun also came to Hutao’s internet cafe.
Xiangling looked at the bustling scene inside.
“Wow, Hutao, your business is booming!”
Hutao proudly crossed her arms and held her head high.
“Of course! Do you guys want to try playing later? I’ll save you a computer.”
Xiangling, Xingqiu, and Chongyun agreed.
They had to support their friend’s new shop.
Then, Hutao gave the two front desk positions to Zhong Li and took Xiangling and the others inside to watch others play.
Xiangling walked to a computer and stopped.
The customer on this computer was playing a realistic cooking simulation game, and Xiangling’s eyes lit up. She stared intently at the kitchen game on the screen.
Xingqiu went to the Romance of the Three Kingdoms station, watching the generals slaughter their way through the game, and he wanted to play as well.
Chongyun found a cool place to sit. Hutao had placed a large fan in the room so it wouldn’t be too hot.
The news spread quickly, and the people of Liyue Harbor soon learned that Wang Sheng Tang had expanded its business.
This new business was very fun, with magical tools for people to play with.
Inside the Northland Bank.
The Young Master, having just recovered, heard the news and went to Wang Sheng Tang with his money.
This time, he simply wanted to join the fun.
He didn’t want to have a big sword held to his neck again; being a battle-seeker and being a masochist were two different things.
On the other side.
The Trailblazer crew gathered in Ye Yun’s shop, preparing to head to their next stop, Pinot Connie.
Just as everyone was ready to depart, the train lights flickered, and Kafka’s projection appeared in the shop.
“Good morning, everyone! Long time no see.”
When Seele saw it was Kafka, she frowned.
Kafka was different from Silver Wolf; this woman was very dangerous. Her mastery of the art of Word-Spirit was terrifying, capable of manipulating people’s thoughts and actions.
“What are you doing on the train again?”
Kafka smiled.
“Don’t be nervous, everyone. I just want to ask you to change your destination.”
March 7th snorted coldly.
“I’m not going to listen to you. You’re not one of us, why should we listen to you? I won’t change!”
Kafka wasn’t surprised.
“Don’t jump to conclusions. Let’s hear some news first.
Not long ago, a Star Core exploded on the Luofu Xianzhou. I want you to change your destination and go to Luofu Xianzhou.
You may not know, but Luofu Xianzhou is near you.”
When Welt heard the words “Star Core”, his expression immediately turned serious.
“Star Core?”
Kafka nodded with a smile.
“Yes, it’s a Star Core.
And, if you don’t go, at least half of Luofu will perish in this crisis.”
Seele crossed her arms.
“State your purpose. Don’t beat around the bush. Everyone’s time is precious.”
Kafka stared at Seele for a few seconds, then smiled.
“Fine.”
As soon as Kafka finished speaking, her projection flickered and transformed into a sinister-looking man.
Soon, Kafka’s voice came.
“His name is Blade. He’s my companion. He’s been captured by the Luofu Cloud Riders.
Obviously, Luofu is blaming the Star Core Hunters for the Star Core explosion.
I need your help to rescue him.
That’s all I have to say. See you in a few days.”
With that, Kafka’s figure disappeared, and the train lights returned to normal.
The Trailblazer crew discussed whether or not to follow Kafka’s advice.
Welt and Seele already had their minds made up; they couldn’t leave the Star Core unattended.
Kafka’s warning was severe; if they didn’t go, at least half of Luofu would be killed or injured.
They already knew about the script from Silver Wolf.
Aelios, the “slave of fate,” had seen a certain future, and what the Star Core Hunters were doing was working towards that future.
However, no matter how they asked, Silver Wolf wouldn’t say anything about the script.
In the end, after discussion, they decided to go to Luofu.
In March 7th’s words, they couldn’t stand idly by.
After confirming that the next stop was Luofu Xianzhou, Pom-Pom started the train.
“Attention passengers, the train is about to jump. Please sit down and hold on tight. Do not run or chase in the aisles.”
Ye Yun heard the broadcast and quickly held the three little ones and sat down in a booth.
The three little ones huddled together, looking at the rapidly receding scenery outside the window with curiosity.
“The car is running!” Kiana raised her hands and cheered.
Hook looked at the increasingly smaller Yaliluo VI.
“Wow! Hook’s hometown is getting smaller!”
Dehya said.
“It’s not getting smaller; we are getting farther away, so it looks smaller.”
Soon, the train reached its critical speed and successfully entered hyperspace.
The three little ones suddenly saw a flash of white light, filling their vision, but it was not dazzling.
A few minutes later.
The three little ones’ vision returned, and they saw a “giant ship” sailing in the starry sea.
It was called a giant ship because this airship was indeed too large, the size of a planet.
This airship was Luofu Xianzhou.
The train began to slow down, slowly arriving at Luofu Xianzhou’s landing point.
Seele took out her device and requested permission to land.
“This is the Star Express, requesting permission to land on Luofu Xianzhou.”
After Seele finished speaking, there was no sound for a long time.
Seele frowned and called again.
“Hello, can you hear me? This is the Star Express, requesting permission to land.”
Seeing this, Ye Yun looked at Silver Wolf’s treasure chest. The lights inside were flashing, clearly indicating that Silver Wolf was still playing games inside.
Ye Yun went straight to Silver Wolf’s treasure chest and opened the door.
What he saw was Silver Wolf, engrossed in playing a game with a controller in her hands.
Her body involuntarily swayed with the character on the screen.
When the character moved left, she moved left; when the character moved right, she moved right; when the character jumped, she stretched her neck; when the character crouched, she shrunk her neck.
Ye Yun was speechless and took off Silver Wolf’s headset.
“Stop playing, it’s time to get to work.”
Silver Wolf was furious when Ye Yun suddenly took off her headset.
“Why did you take off my headset? You messed up my rhythm again! See! I lost again!”
Ye Yun rolled her eyes at Silver Wolf.
“Get to work. The train has arrived at Luofu, and they’re waiting for you to open the gate.”
Only then did Silver Wolf remember that she had a part to play.
Silver Wolf immediately used her keyboard to hack into Luofu’s network, controlling the system to open the Jade Gate.
Seele received a reply soon after.
“Landing request approved. Welcome to Luofu Xianzhou.”
Seeing this, Pom-Pom drove the train into the Jade Gate.
Because the train’s “model” was very special, the tourist port couldn’t accommodate it.
Therefore, the train could only dock at the freight port.
After the train stopped, Dan Heng and Seele chose to stay on the train, while Welt, Stellaron, and March 7th were in charge of this exploration trip.
In the Hui Xing Port.
Welt, Stellaron, and March 7th walked along the main road.
Along the way, they didn’t meet anyone.
However, they did open several treasure chests.
Stellaron was thrilled to see the treasure chests and immediately used the Heavenly Fire Judgment to open them.
Stellaron happily played with the Star Crystal in her hand. The Star Coins that had been depleted were finally replenished.
Star Crystals were still the best; 1 Star Crystal could be exchanged for 100 Star Coins.
An Original Gem could only be exchanged for 10 Star Coins.
Stellaron had asked Ye Yun before, and Ye Yun said it was because of the different world levels.
The higher the world level, the more advanced the energy of that world.
Things like Star Crystals and Original Gems had higher exchange rates in higher-level worlds.
Soon, the three heard a scream at the exit of the container area.
“Ah!”
