Chapter 5: Speed 5 Ruthless Arrest Combo—Handcuff Dragon and Hellish Double Police!

“WHOOSH————————————”

Amidst the howling wind of the high-speed race track, three icy blasts erupted from the dragon’s roar. Two transformed into dazzling ice spears, instantly turning two monsters into cards and sending them back to Niu Wei’s hand! The last blast of ice solidified into a luminous spear, bright as a shooting star, piercing through the Assault Gun Dog whose fighting power had been weakened!

“BOOM！！！！！！！！！”

Shattered ice fragments pelted from behind. The intense battle damage nearly caused Niu Wei’s D-Wheel to lose control. After several violent shakes, he barely managed to stabilize the vehicle using the autopilot system. However, due to the decreased life points, his speed began to slow.

“Beep beep beep beep————————”

“Tsk! But the moment you attacked, my trap card activated!” Niu Wei shouted, a little enraged. A card, seemingly triggered at some point, emitted a glow beside the police D-Wheel. “Trap Card—Reincarnation Prophecy!”

“Choose a total of two cards from both players’ graveyards to return them to their respective decks!”

“The cards I choose are an Assault Gun Dog and a magic card from my graveyard!”

“When your synchro monster battle-destroyed my Assault Gun Dog, the monster’s effect activates again, special summoning the Assault Gun Dog that was just returned to the deck!”

“HOWL——————————————”

The nightmarish howl echoed again. The mechanical hound armed with two heavy cannons sprinted across the icy blue racetrack!

“But synchro summoning isn’t something only you trash can do. With no cards face-down, prepare to die!”

“My turn! Draw!”

“High-speed Magic Card activation—SP·Angel’s Scepter!!”

“Can only be activated when you have two or more high-speed indicators. Draw two cards and discard one card.”

“Bing———————————————”

Angel’s holy light descended, and within the sacred glow, Niu Wei’s hand was partially refreshed.

“This is only the beginning! You waste!” Niu Wei continued, slamming down a card. “Normal summon one monster in attack position!”

“Come back!! Assault Search Officer!!”

“Next is this! SP·Illusionary Wind!!” Niu Wei slammed down another card. “Special Summon one Level 2 or lower monster from the graveyard. The monster special summoned by this effect will be destroyed at the end of the turn!”

“I choose the Hellish Police Officer that was just sent to the graveyard!”

“Watch closely, you scum!!”

“Making its grand entrance is one of this officer’s two trump cards!!”

“Synchro summon using a one-star Hellish Police Officer and a four-star Assault Search Officer!!”

“Chase down the fleeing culprit and send them to hell!!”

“Summon—Hellish Double Police!!!”

Resonating waves echoed amidst the speeding afterimages. Underneath the ripples, the two monsters transformed into a blinding light!

A third motorcycle’s engine roared from the light, a double-headed demonic rider with bright red bat wings screeched, aggressively blocking You Qing’s path!

Niu Wei sneered, “Compared to your dragon, my monster’s attack is a hundred points lower, but soon, this officer will make you utterly despair through arrest!”

“Can only be activated when you have two or more high-speed indicators. I can perform two normal summons this turn!!”

“I offer the Assault Gun Dog as tribute! Appear, five-star monster—Handcuff Dragon!!!”

All preparations complete, Niu Wei let out a triumphant laugh:

“Even if you summoned a synchro monster at the last moment, it’s just a death throe after falling into a trap!!”

“Entering battle phase!!”

“Handcuff Dragon, attack Ice Barrier Dragon—Light Spear Dragon!!”

“Although Handcuff Dragon’s attack is lower, this is this officer’s carefully planned suicide attack!!”

“When Handcuff Dragon is battle-destroyed, it equips itself to the monster that destroyed it as an Equip Card, and reduces the equipped monster’s attack by 1800!!”

“With that, Hellish Double Police can easily destroy your Ice Dragon!!”

“And when successfully battle-destroying the opponent’s monster, Hellish Double Police’s special effect will activate, increasing its attack by 800, then launching another attack!!”

“How about that?! The world is quite interesting, isn’t it~”

“Those with absolute power can crush you trash under their feet!!”

“Go!! Battle!!!”

With Niu Wei’s roar, the bizarre Handcuff Dragon charged furiously towards Ice Barrier Dragon—Light Spear Dragon. If its suicide attack succeeded, You Qing would undoubtedly lose!

Through the rearview mirror, the self-satisfied Niu Wei sneered at his distanced opponent.

Suddenly, however, he noticed You Qing remained calm, showing no sign of panic!

This composure made Niu Wei’s heart tighten.

“Does this guy have some defensive measure?”

“But…”

“He clearly has no other cards on the field…”

Niu Wei thought hopefully, but the next second, a monster leaped from You Qing’s graveyard, abruptly blocking Handcuff Dragon’s attack!

After the attack was negated, Handcuff Dragon flew back to the field. It wasn’t defeated, so it couldn’t become a shackle for Ice Barrier Dragon—Light Spear Dragon!

“Impossible?!” Niu Wei’s eyes widened as he looked at the suddenly appearing monster. “Dead…Dead Spirit Guardian?!”

“Unfortunately, your combo is meaningless to me!!” You Qing gripped the D-Wheel’s handlebars, a blizzard-like chill sweeping towards Niu Wei. “The moment Handcuff Dragon attacked, I activated Dead Spirit Guardian’s effect from the graveyard, banishing this card to negate my opponent’s attack!”
